The Law on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) have been adopted to protect the fundamental rights and freedoms of individuals, especially the privacy of private life, and to regulate the obligations of natural and legal persons who process personal data.

In the capacity of Data Controller, medicatur informs its patients, employees, and candidates in the following manner and enlightens them within the scope specified in the relevant data protection regulations.   • Contacting you through the communication channels you have shared directly with us for the purpose of informing you about our institution and the health services we offer,

  • Using it in the processes required for personnel recruitment for our institution,

  • Receiving registration requests for treatment services, using it in invoicing, and contacting you when needed,

  • Using it in invoicing for accommodation and transportation organizations and contacting you when needed,

  • Using it in the coordination processes of the patient and/or relevant physicians during consultancy and treatment planning stages,

  • Using it in digital and printed environments for news, developments, and informative purposes about our clinics and health tourism activities.

Your data may be processed for purposes such as fulfilling our obligations stipulated by laws and regulations, other than the purposes expressed above.

Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data will be shared with authorized public institutions and organizations such as the Ministry of Health, Social Security Institution, ministries, judicial authorities, banks from which the institution receives services, private health insurance companies, and contracted healthcare providers for the purpose of fulfilling the legal obligations of our institution.

Our institution may transfer the personal data and special quality personal data of the personal data owner to third parties (third-party companies, institutions, group companies, third real persons) by taking the necessary security measures in line with the lawful personal data processing purposes. Our institution acts in accordance with the regulations stipulated in the data protection laws in this direction. Information may be kept within the country or transferred abroad for the realization of the purposes mentioned here, provided that necessary security measures are taken.

Personal data is deleted, destroyed, or anonymized upon the request of the personal data owner or at the institution's own decision if the reasons requiring processing disappear, although it has been processed in accordance with the relevant law provisions.

It is set forth in the Constitution that everyone has the right to be informed about the personal data concerning them. In this direction, "requesting information" is also counted among the rights of the personal data owner. In this context, our institution provides the necessary information in case the personal data owner requests information.
