We support international patients seeking healthcare in Türkiye by working with selected healthcare providers assessed against relevant quality, professional and patient-safety criteria. Our aim is to help patients plan their treatment journey with greater clarity, transparency and confidence.
How We Select Healthcare Providers
Before introducing a healthcare provider to a MedicaTour patient, we review relevant eligibility and quality criteria. Depending on the treatment, this may include:
- Healthcare provider authorisation and regulatory status
- Physician credentials and professional qualifications
- Applicable TÜSKA and/or JCI accreditation
- International patient service capability
- Clinical infrastructure and treatment environment
- Patient communication and follow-up processes
- Applicable complication insurance documentation
HealthTürkiye & International Health Tourism
MedicaTour operates within Türkiye’s international health tourism ecosystem and supports international patient journeys through the HealthTürkiye framework. We assist with communication between patients and healthcare providers, treatment planning and coordination of relevant travel-related arrangements.
Accreditation & Quality Standards
Where applicable, MedicaTour works with healthcare providers holding recognised accreditation such as TÜSKA and/or Joint Commission International (JCI).
Accreditation provides an additional framework for assessing areas including patient safety, quality management, clinical processes and healthcare delivery standards.
Important: Accreditation belongs to the relevant healthcare provider and does not mean that MedicaTour itself is TÜSKA or JCI accredited. Accreditation status is confirmed according to the provider involved in each patient’s treatment.
Complication Insurance & Patient Protection
For eligible surgical and invasive procedures, relevant complication insurance information is reviewed as part of the patient journey.
Coverage may vary depending on the procedure, healthcare provider, policy terms, exclusions, coverage limits and eligibility conditions.
Complication insurance does not guarantee a specific medical outcome and does not automatically cover every revision or additional treatment.

The healthcare provider responsible for your treatment is identified before booking.
Doctor Credentials
Relevant professional credentials and treatment-related qualifications are reviewed.
Accreditation
Applicable TÜSKA and/or JCI accreditation status is checked where relevant.

Key information regarding the proposed treatment is shared before the patient confirms their journey.
Package & Pricing
Package inclusions, services and known additional costs are communicated in advance where possible.
Patient Protection
Applicable insurance and aftercare information is confirmed where relevant.

Treatment information published by MedicaTour is designed to help patients better understand their options and prepare for discussions with healthcare professionals.
