MedicaTour coordinates the travel side. This guide explains how the process usually works for patients travelling from the UK to Türkiye.
1. Share your enquiry
Tell us which treatment you are interested in, your preferred travel dates and any relevant medical information or photos. With your consent, we pass this only to the authorised healthcare provider who will assess you.
2. Assessment by the healthcare provider
The provider's medical team reviews your information and decides whether treatment is suitable for you. If it is, they prepare a treatment plan and a written quote. Clinical decisions are always made by the provider, not by MedicaTour.
3. Ask your questions before you decide
Take time to read the plan. Ask the provider who will treat you, what aftercare is planned and what happens if you need follow-up after you return to the UK.
4. Travel, accommodation and transfers
Once you decide to go ahead, we help you arrange accommodation, airport and appointment transfers, and interpreter support, timed around the provider's schedule.
5. During your stay
A patient coordinator is your point of contact for practical matters: pick-ups, appointment times and day-to-day questions.
6. Back home
Keep copies of your medical reports in English and share them with your GP. Follow the aftercare instructions given by your provider.
